I had some bugs and debris that had baked on over a month or two, and when I used this wash sponge with some Chemical Guys soap and a pressure washer, and some of the times it did nothing to take away the stuck-on pieces, unless I applied direct HARD force for each tiny little speck of crud. Decent sponge, but not a miracle-working amazing sponge. You're not gonna wipe it over the surface 2-3 times and have stuff just go away, unless it's happened recently and hasn't had time to set. Sometimes you'll get a spot that really gives you a hard time, other times you'll get stuff that comes off right away.
This sponge was pretty effective at removing bugs from my car. I had to apply a little elbow grease to get them to come off, but the sponge didn't scratch the car as far as I could tell. It helps to soak the car a bit before trying to remove the bugs. The sponge was easy enough to hold because of it's size.
My Tesla Model 3 front end is a bug magnet, and I needed something like this that would help get the bugs off while not scratching the paint. I chose this because of its microfiber mesh design. It's worked well in getting most of the bugs off my front end and headlights. I use it in combination with a waterless car wash/wax solution.
I use this only on my front bumper and windshield for bugs and what not. Seems just aggressive enough to to get through those things but I don't use it all over, just the tough stuff. I'm pretty picky about my car, too. I'd buy again.

I have not washed my car in months! I use to have a guy at work that would wash our cars on his lunch break for extra money but he got a new job earlier this year, mixed with the fact that its been in the 100s all summer, my car was looking very gross!I bought this to wash my car with, and it worked way better than expected. Some bugs in the front I had to put some elbow grease into but for the most part, it cleaned everyone so well! I was really happy and knew I would use it often as I wanted to start keeping my car a lot cleaner. After the wash, I set it on the bricks in front of my house to dry so I could put it away with out worrying about mold or anything and SOMEONE STOLE IT! .. Its that good guys, people will steal it from you if you don't lock it up. I will be buying another one, once its time to wash again.
This sponge works flawlessly! Little elbow grease and bye bye bugs. I live in Florida and love bug season is like no other and this sponge can get them off like I’ve never had before.

You need a good amount of elbow grease to get the bugs off of the car with this, but it does work better than a normal cloth and certainly doesn’t scratch the car like a sponge

A few times a year I do some long distance drives, and the car is covered in bug splatter when I do. This sponge along with some Bug and Tar Remover makes short work of cleaning the windshield. I try not to use on painted surfaces unless absolutely necessary.

I got this because my microfiber chenille mitt just wasn’t cutting it against the bug guts all over my grille and mirrors. This helps tremendously and leaves no scratches. It held up well being tossed in the washing machine and dryer afterwards too. I’m very satisfied.

This sponge instantly removes love bugs that we encounter here in Florida. Just dip a corner of it in a car wash solution and lightly scrub the bugs off. It doesn’t harm the paint on your car.

Easy to use
Great little mesh sponge for cleaning dried bugs off front surfaces of car, RV. This little 'tool' makes easy work of cleaning up the messes from bugs. Just soak, squeeze out excess water and start the job. I usually follow up with a dry cloth. Safe on all surfaces (glass, paint, plastic). I ordered a second one recently just to have a spare.
It really helps remove all the bugs.
