I got some of these at one of those well known auto-parts stores before and liked them. Nice to see them available on amazon as well. The mitts work perfectly and are well made for the price, they're not quite as absorbent or soft as the thicker style or some of the more expensive brands though. As long as you shake them out well in your wash bucket and use a grit guard and don't use them in the event they fall on the ground you shouldn't have to worry about scratching anything. Some people don't like to use mitts at all, and opt for small microfiber towels or slotted sponges, so it's not a "must-have" product for everyone, but personally I like using mitts as they just save time since they stay flat and you can easily flip them over, and there's less chance of dropping or getting any finger fatigue. Viking generally makes good and affordable detailing / wash supplies, and these mitts are no different. The two pack at $7/ea is a great value.
I recently purchased a new SUV as I felt I needed to replace my wash mitts with new ones. These Viking mitts are very well made and worth investing in for washing a nice new vehicle with a fine paint job. I am very pleased with Viking.
These car washing mits are very helpful while washing the rims on my car. My rims have several openings that can be challenging to get to while holding a regular cleaning rag. These mits make is much easier as I just slide them on and go to town. No need to worry about gripping or dropping a rag. I wish I would've got these things sooner! They are really soft and provide great dirt wiping power. They also work well on the rest of the car.
Always wanted one of these to use and wash my car so this is my first time using one. First experience, it makes washing car a little easier compared to a towel which I was using previously.
Ideal for use on delicate black, and dark colored vehicles. These mitts do a good job. My old one was so old it was coming apart, oddly enough the way these seem to be made I don't think these would do that. They take up a lot of moisture allowing a bit more use time between returns to the bucket. They cost a heck of a lot less than the ones I have bought off of the Showcar automotive cleaning supplies truck, and you get 2 for the price.
