These brushes are fairly effective at cleaning hard-to-reach places inside the wheel design. They include a rubber hand guard at the brush end of the handle, which is a good touch. The core of the brush is plastic, which flexes quite a bit when cleaning with any side force on the brush.The brush material itself does a good job at cleaning your vehicle's rims without scratching, and clean up relatively easily after the washing is done.Two main improvements I would recommend, however.1) Bring the brush material all the way around the end of the brush. Currently, the inner plastic piece extends at the center, cleaning end of the brush, banging against the rim, hubcaps, or brake rotors and degrading the effectiveness of the brush itself. The tip of the cleaning device should be of the same material as the rest of the "business end" of the brush.2) Curve the handle in relation to the cleaning brush. Because the brushes are long but relatively thin (and the tip is not brush but plastic core), much of the cleaning is done with the brush at some angle to the surface of the rim. This demands the user bend his/her wrist at sometimes awkward angles to maximize the amount of brush surface contacting the rim being cleaned. An angled handle in relation to the brush, perhaps 45-90 degrees, would make for a much less awkward and wrist strain-inducing cleaning experience.Good product, overall, but it could be great with the above design improvements.

2 different size wheel brushes made with firm but fluffy material to clean your wheels. They work well and are able to get in the large hole and some of the small hole areas. I wish the plastic middle tubing was a little more solid so it doesn't feel so flimsy. However it does the job and keeps my wheels clean.

This pair of bottle-brush style wheel brushes can make your wheel cleaning much easier, especially if paired with a good wheel cleaner, degreaser or soap.The handles feel fairly comfortable on both brushes with holes for hanging them up to dry after use. The rubber guard ring on each helps protect your hand from the wheel if the brushing gets a bit too vigorous. A rubber or plastic cap on the end of the twisted wire core of the brush helps protect against accidental contact of that metal with the wheel which might result in scaring.The brushes stay reasonably wet in use but require multiple dips in a wash bucket or re-wetting with some cleaner to do a complete wheel.The brushes rinse out easily and dry fairly quickly.Your particular rating for these brushes may have a lot to do with the type and design of wheels which you are trying to clean. For intricate, multi-spoke alloy wheels it may be difficult to get the best usage out of either brush if the spacing of the spokes if very narrow. I had to use other detail brushes on my wheels as they have narrow, tapered areas between spokes which the smaller brush was difficult to get in and out of. Just a though to keep in mind so you can get the most from these brushes.

Two brushes that do have a dense, unspecified type of fiber suitable for loosening wheel rim grime. Feels like Synthetic Wool, kind of rough but not scratchy.Larger brush fits well in regular motorcycle rims while the smaller brush fits up closer the axle. Smaller brush also makes it easier to reach the areas on spoked rims. The 16 inch length does make it possible to reach across even wider rims.To me, nothing makes cleaning rims fun, but the right brush does make the job easier. These do seem well suited for this purpose with a nice feature of having rubber finger guards between the handle and the brush. The handles are adequately comfortable with a little flex. I'm able to exert enough pressure to get a good scrub, but have the feeling too much pressure might snap the plastic.Much better than the shorter bristle-type brush I have been using. They do collect the grime but held up to using a power washer to clean them off. Seems to me that comparatively, the are over-valued for a brush only kit 4*.

I like this wheel cleaner set very much. The two sizes make it convenient to reach various areas in the rim. The large brush is long enough to extend deep with in the rim while the thinner brush is good for those tighter areas (see pics).Since both are made heavy duty plastic, the brush stays firm, but at the same time is malleable to fit tight areas. The brush thickness options do the job in getting grime off since the bristles are long enough and densely made. I used a few plastic bristle tire brushes in the past and this one is far better and effective; definitely saves time if you typically wash your rims inside and out by hand.

The brushes did better than expected both wet and dry. They have been good for in-between washings to keep the wheels shining and free of dust.

These worked perfect on my wheels and made that part of cleaning the cars easier and quicker too. I can't think of any negatives at all. These have been great so far.

This is a review for VIKING Wheel Brush Set, Wheel Cleaner and Barrel Brush Kit, Includes Regular and Slim Diameters, 16 Inch Length, Teal, 2 PackI have a few other Viking products, that are well made, and work well, so I figured I would give this set a try.This wheel brush set works pretty well, and appears to be quite durable. I have been using them to clean the hard to reach areas of my motorcycle, and there are no problems. I could see though, that if you have larger wheels, like those on a truck or SUV, there could be issues reaching some places.Overall, I am pleased with these brushes, and would probably buy more when needed.

I used these to clean up the harder to reach spots on my wheels. They worked well, hold a lot of water and easily released the soap and dirt when I rinsed them out. I did not see any scratches on my rims after use.

It's been a while since I've washed my vehicle and the wheels are one of those that takes forever and it isn't always perfect in the end. This brush set has helped make them cleaner on the first wash attempt. Really gets into the the tight, awkward spaces especially since I can no longer get on the ground and scrub them like I used to. Cleaning my wheels no longer takes forever.

The Viking wheel brush set was a bit of a disappoint overall.The handles are a rubbery material, and I appreciate the collar on the handle to prevent water and cleaner from dripping back onto your hands.The two sizes were also a plus, as it's sometimes hard to get in between wheel spokes with my regular wheel brush.However, these brushes are very short. You really have to reach deep into the wheels on our SUV to get them clean, and that pretty much maxed out the depth of these brushes.Also, the actual width of these brushes meant having to wipe around the wheel face alot, whereas my normal wheel brush is quite fat, allowing me to just plunge it into and out of each section of the wheel and get it clean in one or two strokes.The material feels like synthetic steel wool, and I'm worried about it scratching the finish on my wheels. It's quite rough to the touch.While I appreciated the opportunity to try these brushes out, they won't be replacing my current wheel brush any time soon.

These two wheel brushes work pretty well. Where they really shine is the fact that they can get into tight spaces near rotor and brake caliper. Also they are soft and durable. These are ideal for expensive wheels where brushes could scratch finish, these definitely will be gentle on high end rims.

I’ve always struggled with cleaning my wheels that are caked with brake dust. This is the first set of dedicated wheel cleaning brushes that I’ve had, and I find them to be very good. First, the obvious. They come in two sizes which is great. The large one makes cleaning much faster, and the smaller one gets me into little crevices and openings that are hard to reach otherwise. The brush material is pretty firm feeling so scrubbing feels satisfying, and the material itself is fairly soft so I don’t worry about accidentally scratching the rims. Great product and no complaints.

I just surprised my wife with a new Mercedes and then bought my self one. I love cars and I love to take care of cars. Having clean rims is a necessity. I like to clean the inside of the rims as much as the outside and these brushes help reach the tough places around the calipers. I knocked a star off because the tips of them are not covered and there is nothing on these that will clean the holes where the lug nuts are recessed.

Viking has been around for some time marketing budget priced detailing products for the hobbyist. These brushes are of solid quality, but as typical of Viking, are being sold lacking important information.Viking, what are these brushes made of and how can you not include that info in your listing? It just cost you a star. Just like your microfiber towels where you never include GSM, material composition (polyester/polyamide ratio), fabric design (twisted loop or....) and country where the microfiber material was made (normally South Korea or China), here again you leave customers in the dark.Most serious detailers are going to want to know what these brushes are made from before allowing them to contact with their expensive wheels.I believe these to a fairly stiff microfiber. The brushes themselves are nicely made and designed, minimizing the chances of scratching your wheels. I just purchased a new car and the wheels have a tight, intricate design. Where larger brushes can't go, these two go with ease.I like the size of these brushes. They clean well without shedding. Just please provide necessary information on your listing pages, Viking. You won't be taken more seriously by advanced detailers until you do.

Cleaning the wheels on my car is not really the most fun thing to do. I love the look, but they have crevices that are a bit of a pain to deal with. The thin brush from this pack is the most useful as far as my wheels go.The brushes are thick and can hold a lot of water, and the material is very durable. The handles are pretty stiff but they are flexible enough when needed.I feel like these can be used for more than just the wheels on the car. There are lots of places that I'd like to clean but require something like these brushes, particularly in the engine bay and under the car. Overall these are a great, handy tool for my car cleaning tool collection.

I love having these Viking barrel wheel brushes on hand. These are one of those things that I never knew I needed, but now that I have them I don't know how I lived without!! They're just so convenient to be able to reach into all of the nooks and crannies that are so much work to get to otherwise with most rims. The bristles are quite durable and brake dust and dirt still pretty well to them. Great buy!!

A good set of wheel brushes are a must for a proper car wash. With brake dust dulling the appearance of your wheels you need to be able to get a brush in there to clear away the residue. These are well made with both a large and small barrel option for tight spaces. The shaft is a flexible fiberglass type material and there are no surfaces that could scratch your wheels. I very pleased with these brushes.

These brushes can get deep in the wheel to clean those hard to reach areas and with the two size options, I can get into areas too small for my hand to fit with a rag. The material is some kind of densely piled fibers and isn’t abrasive at all. I don’t think they would do well on really bad brake dust buildup or caked on grime.

I hate the black brake powder that coats my front rims. It really looks bad. I saw these brushes and finally I had found a solution that's small enough to keep in the trunk of the car but big enough to do the job. Now I can rinse off the rims and brush them down everyday if necessary. These brushes are lightweight, but are really effective.

These brushes ride the like of harsh and soft, perfect for your wheels. They are soft enough to where it will not scratch your wheels like a plastic scrubber, but harsh enough to get those caked on break dust and grime from driving activities. The brush handles are made of plastic and are not super sturdy so I suggest not to go too hard on them, one bad thing about the brush is that the top has a plastic retaining nipple making it unforgiving if you poke to hard, although if you are cleaning your wheels nothing down there would really take any damage from it.
