What kinds of cleaning products should I use?
This Foam Sprayer is designed to work with cleaning products that contain surfactants — that’s what creates foam. Compatible products typically include: Car wash soap, all-purpose cleaners, upholstery cleaners, and degreasers.
Because there are many different chemical formulations on the market, VIKING cannot guarantee foaming performance with every product.
How do I fill the sprayer?
First, unscrew the sprayer lid from the canister. Then, choose your dilution ratio. Add your chemical first, then fill with water up to the 1.25-liter fill line.
It’s important that you don’t overfill. You need to leave space inside the canister for pressure to build. Overfilling can cause inconsistent performance. Make sure the solution is well mixed then securely reattach the lid.
How do I know if the sprayer is properly pressurized?
Use a pumping motion to build pressure. Pump approximately 40 times, or until you feel strong resistance on the downward stroke. That resistance means the unit is fully pressurized.
My foam is inconsistent. How do I improve my foam output?
A subpar dilution ratio is where foam inconsistencies happen. The dilution ratios printed on car wash soaps — like 1 to 5 — are usually designed for foam cannons connected to pressure washers. Those systems use: high pressure, air injection, and different internal mixing.
A handheld pump sprayer works differently. So, finding the right dilution ratio for each type of chemical will take some trial and error.

Here’s our rule of thumb for car wash soap: Start at 1 part soap to 15 parts water, then make adjustments. If foam is thin or spotty, increase soap slightly. If foam is heavy but inconsistent or not spraying well, increase the water.
Make small adjustments — about 5 parts at a time. Most users find their sweet spot lands somewhere between 1 to 10 and 1 to 20, depending on: soap formulation, water hardness, pump pressure, or cleanliness of the internal foam agitators.
Any other pro tips?
Yep! Warm water and fully pressurizing the unit make a noticeable difference. In many cases, using more water than the foam cannon recommendation is exactly what works best in handheld foam sprayers.

This foam dispenser is well made and big enough to hold all the soap you need for a full car wash. That's why I got it, but I just tested it out using a cleaning product on my floor. You have to pump the pressurizer after filling it in order to create foam. This is not physically difficult and only takes a minute. It's ready when you feel resistance in the pump. The thumb switch is smooth and easy to use. It sprays a few feet out, and you have to pump it every few sprays to maintain pressure. This was not a problem. It comes with extra gaskets, which is helpful. I foresee using this mostly on my car or to shampoo horses. It will work well for these tasks and others. I recommend it.

Talk about bang for your buck! I’ve only used it once so far (you know, trying to erase the winter weather from my vehicle) and it was so easy and satisfying to use. I used it with traditional car wash soap and it foamed up beautifully. The continuous spray was *chefs kiss* perfect. This is the perfect foamer when you don’t want to (or don’t have one) dig out your pressure washer and mess with it. 10/10 recommend.

Super solid quality. Totally surprised This has been overlooked as far as influencers. Save your arm and install a Schrader valve for it needs a solid 25 to 35 PSI for excellent spray.
Works well and easy to use. Used Meguiar’s Deep Crystal car wash soap in the 1-15 ratio recommended and the foam was great.
If you're in the market for a hand sprayer, you'll be pleased with the performance on this guy. Very solid build quality. Just pump it up enough that you feel that resistance build up and it produces nice, thick foam. The trigger lock was a nice feature I wasn't expecting to need. All around great option for when I want to spray foam quickly.
Love this foamer. I use this when I’m cleaning my wheels to get some extra suds and once it’s pressurized it does just that. It’s really easy to use and if I have more left over after my wheels I’ll use the rest to spot clean areas like the door jambs or low on my front end. The price is pretty enticing too.
I don't really like the spray pattern, as the sides are very heavily soiled, while the center of the spray is much less soiled. I will continue to try to "dial in" the spray.However, the hardware itself is VERY high quality, and you can tell it's not a cheap knock-off.Once I get it dialed in, I think it will be fantastic. But, I think it should be perfectly dialed in from the factory? Maybe?
